Rude staff

Went to the Snap Fitness Centre in Albany, as I am a member. Brought someone with me who wanted to see the lay out and join later. As I walked in was accused by male employee who identified himself as the owner of the business. Was rude to me and my colleague and accused me of trying to get a guest in without signing in. Then proceed to question me and act in an unprofessional manner. Complete disrespect for a paying and potential customer and I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will be no longer attending.

Deceiving, Rude

Signup fee was much higher than I anticipated (information that's not advertised), I saw they previously had no joining fee promotions so I ask if this could be waived, to which they replied no but they were offering a free personal training session. Fair enough I thought and went on with registration, paying the joining fee. The salesman (I say salesman because the staff really did nothing else there that I saw) also went through all the conditions with me and clearly stated a two week cancellation notice period. After arranging a consultation with a personal trainer for my free session, I expressed that I would be interested in 4-6 weeks of training with them to work on form and develop a routine. We agreed on an hourly rate that I again felt was quite expensive but obliged. Now here's the issues I've had - Three days after signing up I received a marketing SMS from Snap informing me of their new no joining fee promotion! - I was charged for my first 'free' session. - The routine I was given was terrible, I consulted quite a few others with qualifications about it and all unanimously agreed it was completely wrong for me. - Not once did a session last longer than 45 minutes. I was still charged for the full hour. - Staff are unhelpful in just about every way Upon deciding to cancel, they were rude to me despite me doing so politely. To sum up my experience I feel a bit exploited and would really recommend just paying the bit more to go to a fully qualified gym.

Cheap and NASTY Snap Fitness

I have had the misfortune of signing up with Snap Fitness. I am one of many who have fallen prey to their "No Dropping Dumbbell Policy " ???!!! I had a very inexperienced arrogant Browns Plains Manager "Terminate me Publicly" in front of the whole gym. This Manager is all of 25 Years of age with no real people skills other than her Looks, of which she uses the gym as a ego booster and pickup joint for her active social life( Numerous Flowers were sent by several male Gym Goers of whom she led on-very professional leaving numerous bunches of flowers on front counter ) SNAP FITNESS ARE THE "ALDI" of the gym world they truly are, inexperienced Gym Staff and cheap equipment made worse by the fact that Snap Fitness do not abide by code and install al full floating floor, what they do is wait to see if neighbours complain then they install- YIP they are that cheap and Nasty. I am hoping someone who has also fallen prey to a young ignorant/arrogant young female manager Terminating them in Public, contacts me as so we can "Take Snap Fitness on in a Class Action ". Sorry Defamation is a Crime Snap Fitness. When I questioned The Owner of the store, he was so low that he told me That Miranda the manager suggested Sexual Harassment( That is cheap girly ***) of which I am now planning on sueing for- how dare they insult my integrity because they are cheap Bastards. CU in Court Snap Fitness, shives I might have a few other disgruntled ex Snap Fitness members in support of my insult.

Promise Not Met

Joined Snap Fitness in Victoria, Australia because idea of 24/7 access appealed. Received a 5 min gym famaliarisation brief and pass (which attendant couldn't get to work). Had problems with pass not working but could never get help from gym and they NEVER returned phone calls asking for help. Interestingly had problem with credit card for direct debit and they were quick to call then. Travel meant I could never get to to gym so eventually had to cancel membership. Made it impossible to quit and seemed intent was to merely delay cancellation of membership so they could debit another month. All the promises about 'no contracts' was rubbish and being asked to pay for a month when you are providing over 2 weeks notice (i.e. no pro rata it is paying for in reality 6 weeks).

The centre is in kensington. SNAP FITNESS.-Fraud.Hi guys be aware of this fitness centre.

I was one of the victims. My wife and I joined the centre together they said the price is 17.95 per week no cost extra and when our first paymnt went through there was 1.25 charge applied on top of that amount they promised by ezydebit a third party company. Upon asking snap fitness they said iys their charge not us. So misleading it's a hidden charge.

Secondly as we were told no contract involved so we can cancel any time no charges applied but after a monyh when my wife went to cancel they said there is 1 month notice to be provided and yhey are charging 1 monyh after cancellation also so yhey are playing with the words they are saying no contract but hiding that there is a notice period yo be give. I dony wat else there are gonna say but we are trapped.

Plz dont dont dont choose them if u want no headeache. A big nO no to snap fitness

So when you signed the contract, they did not tell you the terms and conditions about 30 day notice from 1st of the month ?? if not, take them to better business bureau.

Here in Toronto, they were straight up with me..

told me , if i give my notice on 2nd of the month.. i still get billed the next month.

I knew what i was signing up for, saved me the heart ache after.
